Community Calendar

Not every gathering works the same way. Here’s what the different kinds of events mean, so you know what you’re walking into.

Munch — A casual, public meet-up, usually at a restaurant. No play, no pressure — just food, conversation, and getting to know people. The best first step for anyone new.

Social — A relaxed community gathering. A chance to connect, catch up, and build community outside of classes and events.

Mixer — A social with a little more structure — introductions, icebreakers, and an easy way to meet new faces.

Private Vetted Events — Closed events that are not open to the public and not for walk-ins. Attendance requires being vetted by the hosting group first.

What does ‘vetted’ mean?

Vetted means the hosting group has gotten to know you — through munches, classes, or conversation — and trusts you in their space. Every group vets in its own way, independently of every other group. Being vetted by one group does not carry over to another.

Please note: the groups listed on this calendar may host other events that are not listed here, including private vetted events. If you’re interested in a group’s private events, reach out to that group directly and ask about their vetting process.
